SB 744 (slots at the tracks) failed to pass the Senate today The vote was 28-28 with 2 no shows and 1 voting present. 30 votes were needed to pass it. The bill was supported by all horsemen's groups and all racetracks except Arlington who stood alone while opposing it. We are working closely with Senator Link (the sponser of the bill) and are hopeful to get it called again next week.
